Since its inception in 1967, the Anaheim Convention Center’s Crowd Control team has assisted thousands of clients by providing crowd management services during events held at the convention center. These services, which can range in both complexity and size, are provided to all types of events: business-like conventions, scientific sessions, corporate events, consumer shows and busy trade shows, the men and women of Crowd Control have seen it, done it and look forward to more. The Crowd Control Department is comprised of dedicated City of Anaheim employees, trained and passionate about providing guest service. The Anaheim Convention Center prides itself on the high quality of personnel that this team reflects. The Crowd Control team are locals, familiar with all that Anaheim and Orange County have to offer. Every member of the Crowd Control team is dressed in a contemporary burgundy blazer, white shirt, gray slacks and a smile! State-of-the-art radio communication is available and used to efficiently and effectively manage events. The Crowd Control Department services the majority of the events for which crowd management services are required at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Anaheim Convention Center is one of the busiest venues in the nation, hosting an average of 250 events each year, which translates to more than 400 “event days” each year when attendees are welcomed by Anaheim’s professional Crowd Control team.
