The event, led by Mayor Pro Tem Lucille Kring, will include patriotic music, a special guest speaker and a commemoration of the Marine Corps 240th Birthday. 


A fundraiser was recently held on October 10, 2015- OC Bootcamp Games to raise money for homeless resources, specifically aimed at assisting homeless veterans. The event raised approximately $ 4500 from participants and sponsors. The funds will be used to assist homeless individuals with a preference given to veterans.

Anaheim Supports Our Veterans
The City of Anaheim's Online Resources allow active service members, veterans, and family members to receive information about current programs and promotions in the Anaheim community. Anaheim recognizes that the transition into the civilian workforce and community can be challenging, thus creating an important need for assistance when service members return home. Through this website, existing and returning veterans are provided online access to earned benefits and connections with important local resources for employment, housing, education, health care, daily living, and much more. Anaheim appreciates the service our veterans and military families have committed, and will continue develop programs to make Anaheim a community of kindness and freedom.
