I have a wonderful co-worker who was having some electrical problems at her townhouse. She is the kindest lady. She always helps her daughters and granddaughter and puts a Happy Birthday card on our desk every birthday.
So, when she said she needed to get an electrician out to her house, I said let me take a look as electricians are expensive. I went to her residence and wound up replacing an old receptacle in her kitchen. She tried adamantly to pay me for my time/parts which I would not take. Parts were under $10.00 and an electrician probably would’ve charges her a couple hundred dollars just to come out.
I believe you go the extra mile to be kind to people and it’ll come back tenfold.
