Carol Rhodes-Rice

Member at Large – Central District (La Palma between West and Euclid)

Hello, my name is Carol Rhodes-Rice. I have been a resident of Anaheim for more than 45 years. My mother has lived at her address since 1953. I am a graduate of Anaheim High School, Freemont Jr. High and Adelaide Price Elementary School. I enjoy meeting new people in my community and I am very passionate about serving as a liaison between our neighborhood and the Anaheim Police Department.
I am a 2015 graduate of the Public Awareness through Citizen Education (PACE) Program, sponsored by APD. My mother worked for APD for more than 30 years. I was also very active in fund-raising for the police dog Bruno, who was shot while on duty in 2014.

I can be found walking my German Shephard almost daily all around the Central District. I am active in reporting graffiti almost every day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the education provided during the PACE program and highly recommend the program to any Anaheim resident. There is no better way to become familiar with and gain an appreciation for all of the different departments and the day to day duties and challenges of the police department.
