OLD Anaheim Convention Center

This 924-module, 12,500-square-foot array is the first and largest grid-connected solar power generating system in Anaheim. It generates approximately 140,000 kWh of electricity, enough energy to support 24 Anaheim homes every year.

  • Commissioned and accepted December 2000
  • Consists of 924 modules in a roof-mounted “PowerGuard” design by PowerLight Corporation and covers approximately 12, 500 square feet of flat roof space
  • First grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system owned and operated by Anaheim Public Utilities
  • Generates over 141,000 kWh annually - enough energy to support 24 Anaheim homes a year
