ANAHEIM, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2017) — Anaheim’s Dec. 19 City Council meeting is moving to the Downtown Anaheim Community Center directly next to City Hall.
The meeting, which will take place in the community center’s assembly hall, is moving to allow for year-end work on the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The chambers is undergoing maintenance and upgrades to the audio and voting systems as well as the video projector used during meetings.
The work is set to be done in time for the first meeting of 2018 on Jan. 9.
The regular session of the Dec. 19 meeting is set to start at 5 p.m.
City Council is expected to convene earlier for a closed session discussion with the time yet to be determined.

The Downtown Anaheim Community Center is at 250 E. Center St., just northeast of City Hall.
Visitors can still park in the City Hall parking structure off Broadway as they usually do for meetings at the Council Chambers.
You can also park in the structure directly across from the Downtown Anaheim Community Center at 235 E. Center St.
