ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – (June 17, 2019) – Investigators from the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF) are seeking additional victims of human trafficking by a YouTube rapper arrested early last week on charges of pimping and pandering an 18-year-old Orange County woman.
Angel Ortiz Diamond, a 31-year-old resident of Los Angeles, who goes by the name Benjiboy Staccs, was charged with one felony count of pimping and one felony count of pandering. He pleaded not guilty.
The OCHTTF initiated an investigation into Diamond’s activities after receiving reports from a relative of the victim.
Under the rapper name Benjiboy Staccs, Diamond has posted numerous videos to YouTube with songs glorifying the pimping subculture. Investigators believe Diamond uses his social media following to meet young women in clubs, and ultimately lure them into the human trafficking circuit.
Anyone who has been, or knows of someone who has been exploited by Diamond, is asked to call Anaheim Police Sgt. Juan Reveles at 714-765-1829.
Diamond was booked at Orange County Jail and remains in custody. His booking photo is shown below:
