Search Warrant Served by SWAT After Tip Regarding Explosives in Anaheim Residence

ANAHEIM, CA (March 6, 2017) – Anaheim Police SWAT Team members and investigators from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad served a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of South Clementine St just after noon Monday afternoon. The search warrant was issued after law enforcement received a tip regarding a resident at the location possessing firearms and explosive materials. No explosive materials were located, nor was evidence located to indicate explosive materials had been at the location previously.

Prior to the service of the search warrant, Mark Steven Czikalla, a 59 year old Anaheim resident, was arrested without incident during an investigatory traffic stop. Czikalla was booked at the Anaheim Detention Facility for one count of possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle. He is being held on the statutorily established bail of $20,000.
