2021 Young Artist Showcase

  1. The Anaheim Community Services Department invites applications for the 2021 Young Artist Showcase featuring the creative work of Anaheim residents and students in grades 7 to 12. We need your partnership to make this city wide art show a representation of our talented and diverse youth.

    • Each school may submit a total of 3-5 students, per showcase opportunity.
    • All applications must be submitted through the online form by the art teacher or administrator for each school. Student submissions will not be accepted without the teacher application.
    • Once the application, required documents, and images have been received, a virtual art show will be created by Community Services Marketing Staff to showcase each school.

    Application Procedure
Applications for the current showcase will be accepted through January 15th; all applications must be submitted online at the Downtown Anaheim Center Gallery website.

Each school application must include the following:

    • School administrator/teacher contact information including phone number and email.
    • High Resolution school logo.
    • Student Art Application with 3-5 digital image submissions of artwork.
    • Student Introduction video or artist bio and statement.
    • Signed indemnification waiver by both student and parent.

    Review and Scheduling
Applications will be reviewed by Anaheim Community Services staff. A schedule will be provided to all applicants once the artists from each school are finalized. During the showcase, our outreach goals include the following:

    • Highlight student art on both Anaheim Community Services and Center Gallery social media accounts.
    • Tag both the student artist, if requested, and school in social media posts.
