| ANAHEIM, CA - (June 16, 2008) - The City of Anaheim will be hosting a first-of-its-kind Green Lifestyle Informational Fair from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on June 21 at Boysen Park, located at 951 State College Boulevard. In addition to learning about the latest in sustainable products and technology from City departments and local vendors, attendees will also have an opportunity to win a variety of prizes, including an energy-efficient refrigerator, $250 gift certificates, home energy kits and more. Anaheim residents who are considering their next home improvement project are invited to learn about new energy-efficient materials, purchasing tips and simple ways to save money and energy, as well as take advantage of all of Anaheim’s Green Connection incentives.
They will also have an opportunity to register for Anaheim Public Utilities’ $50,000 Home Energy Makeover Contest in which one Anaheim resident will be selected to receive up to $50,000 worth of energy-efficient upgrades, such as a new air conditioner and furnace, increased insulation, high-performance windows, air sealing, lighting and energy-efficient appliances.
