Anaheim's Pearson Park Summer Concert Series Continues With Grammy Winner Poncho Sanchez
ANAHEIM, CA - (July 22, 2008) - Grammy Award winner Poncho Sanchez will entertain audiences at Anaheim’s Pearson Park Amphitheatre on Saturday, July 26, beginning at 8 p.m. Sanchez is known as the leader of the most popular Latin jazz group in the world today.

Sanchez’ style illustrates his fondness for traditional tropical Latin fare, jazz standards, R&B, and funk.

In addition to receiving a Grammy Award, Sanchez, who was born in Texas but grew up in the Los Angeles area, has also garnered several Grammy nominations throughout his career.

The Summer Nights Under the Stars concert series at Pearson Park continues through September. The concerts and shows for children and adults are organized for residents and visitors to enjoy their evenings outdoors with family and friends.

“We invite Anaheim residents and visitors to spend the warm summer months outdoors at Pearson Park and enjoy a variety of concerts and shows,” Suzy Tindall, Pearson Park Amphitheatre Manager. “A variety of shows are planned for the remainder of the summer, and there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
