Defeat The Heat! Free Swimming At Pearson Park On Friday, Aug. 1; Free Food And Prizes
ANAHEIM, CA - (July 25, 2008) - The summer’s heat is rising, and it's time to cool off at a day of free swimming at Anaheim’s Pearson Park. The City will host a Free Pool Friday on August 1 from 12 p.m. - 6 pm at Pearson Park Pool, presented by Anaheim Community Services and CBS2/KCAL9.

Children and adults can enjoy free entry to the pool, win prizes, and learn how to "Defeat the Heat.”

In addition to recreational swimming and educational displays, participants will receive free pizza from Oggi’s Pizza, toothbrushes from 1-800 Dentist, Word Search puzzle handouts, and discount coupons from Knott’s Berry Farm.

Pearson Park Pool is located at 400 N. Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim.

Sponsors for this day of free swimming at Pearson Park include Metro PCS, Knott's Berry Farm, 1-800-Dentist, SeaWorld, OC Fair, Time Warner Cable, Universal Studios, Oggi's Pizza, Land Rover, McDonald's, Dodge, Bank of America, LA County Parks and Recreation, the City of Fontana, and the City of Newport Beach.
