Anaheim Restaurateur Bruno Serato To Receive Walk Of Stars Honor
ANAHEIM, CA - (August 18, 2008) -

WHAT: Bruno Serato, owner of the Anaheim White House Restaurant, will receive the eighth star on the Anaheim/Orange County Walk of Stars.

Born in France and raised both in France and in Italy, Serato continually seeks ways to give back to the community. Among the organizations he supports are the Boys and Girls Club in Anaheim, Paint Your Heart Out, an organization that renovates the homes of the elderly and infirmed, and Caterina’s Girls Club, which Serato founded in honor of his mother to benefit underprivileged girls in Anaheim. His philanthropic efforts have raised nearly $1 million.

Since 2006, his restaurant has provided lunch for members of the U.S. Men’s National Volleyball team, currently competing at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Serato joins Walt Disney, Margaret and Carl Karcher, Henry and Susan Samueli, the Yorba family, the Taormina family, Gene Autry, and Monsignor John Sammon as Anaheim/Orange County leaders to receive this honor.

WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Ceremony: At the corner of Harbor Blvd. and East Shuttle Way.
              Parking: In the Pumba lot, located at 401 W. Disney Way, between Harbor Blvd. and Clementine St. Shuttle Service
              will transport guests to and from the ceremony.
              Media Parking: In the blocked lane on southbound Harbor Blvd.

GUESTS: Special guests scheduled to honor Serato at the ceremony include Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle, Anaheim Council Members, Congressman Ed Royce, Ed Grier, president of the Disneyland Resort, celebrity chef Jamie Gwen, Serato's sister, Stella Ibay, and Michael Baker, president of the Boys and Girls Club in Anaheim.
