Outdoor Activities for the Entire Family
Sept. 7 - Eco-Faire; Sept. 13 - Teen Movie Night and Flashlight Hike
ANAHEIM, CA - (September 3, 2008) - Anaheim’s Oak Canyon Nature Center is offering outdoor activities for children and adults of all ages.

Sept. 7: Eco-Faire
The community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, exhibitors and give-away prizes at the annual Eco-Faire at Anaheim’s Oak Canyon Nature Center, to take place on Sunday, Sept. 7. The Eco-Faire will run from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

In addition, attendees can enjoy making take-home crafts from recycled materials, participating in an earthwise challenge course, and learning which plants to choose for a beautiful butterfly garden. Attendees can also take on the “eco-challenge” and bring empty aluminum cans and plastic water bottles for recycling.

Sept. 13 – Teen Movie Night and Flashlight Hike
Teens can enjoy a movie and flashlight hike at Oak Canyon Nature Center on Saturday, Sept. 13. The evening will begin with a teen movie, followed by a moonlight flashlight hike on the trails of the Nature Center.

The movie will start at 8:00 p.m., and concessions will be sold.

Flashlights are required for the hike, and must be brought from home.

Anaheim’s Oak Canyon Nature Center is located at 6700 E. Walnut Canyon Rd.
