| ANAHEIM, CA - (September 11, 2008) - The City of Anaheim announces a weekend road closure and detour routes for the weekend of Sept. 12-14.
SOUTH STREET CLOSURE The Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) will be conducting track maintenance on the South Street railroad crossing starting on Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, September 14 at 7 p.m. During this time, South Street will be closed between Dakota and East Streets. Detour signs will be posted directing drivers and pedestrians to alternate routes.
The prescribed detours are as follows: Eastbound traffic on South Street will be diverted southbound on Olive Street, eastbound on Vermont Avenue and northbound on East Street back to South Street. Subsequently, westbound traffic on South Street will be diverted southbound on East Street, westbound on Vermont Avenue and northbound on Olive Street back to South Street.
