Anaheim Welcomes Helicopter Expo 2009
ANAHEIM, CA - (February 17, 2009) -

WHAT: Heli-Expo 2009, a helicopter industry tradeshow hosted by Helicopter Association International, returns to the Anaheim Convention Center this month.  It is estimated that 15,000 attendees will enjoy this year’s show.

57 helicopters will fly to the Anaheim Convention Center parking lot, off West Street, land, and be moved into the Convention Center for the tradeshow.   Upon the show’s conclusion, the helicopters will be moved to the parking lot and depart from there.

In addition to Heli-Expo 2009, the Professional Helicopter’s Pilot’s Association will be conducting take-offs and landings in the parking lot at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, as part of their manufacturers demonstration.

DATES: Fly-in dates are:  Feb. 18-19
            Show dates are Feb. 22-24
            Professional Pilots dates are Feb. 22-23
            Fly-out dates are:  Feb. 24-25

NOTES: Heli-Expo takes place in Anaheim every four years.
