|Anaheim Community Services Opens Registration for Spring Recreation Classes, Activities and Events|
ANAHEIM, CA - (March 5, 2010) - The Anaheim Community Services department has open registration for spring recreation classes, activities and events, for both children and adults. From a large variety of activities from which to choose, the spring is sure to provide fun and learning for all.
Spring Youth Sports soccer and cheerleading season is quickly approaching, and boys and girls ages 4-13 are welcome to enjoy the fun. Online registration is open through March 12 at www.anaheim.net/ezrecconnect. Walk-in registration will be open March 8-12 at the Downtown Community Center (250 E. Center Street), East Anaheim Gymnasium (4165 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road), and Brookhurst Community Center (2271 W. Crescent). The cost is $82 per child, and includes practice times, games, a professional coaching staff, program t-shirt, and a participation award. The Spring Youth soccer and cheerleading season emphasizes participation and instruction to develop skills and techniques.
Spring-season classes offer opportunities for tiny tots, gymnastics, art, fitness, dance, educational topics and special interest groups. Anaheim Blvd., Fourth Floor). Registrations are accepted online, via fax to (714) 765-5223, or mailed to the Community Services department.
Camp Venture is hosting a special three-date session for Anaheim elementary students in the Placentia-Yorba Linda School District. On April 2, 12 and May 28, Camp Venture will offer games, crafts, science and other fun activities for the children during the District’s teacher furlough days. Each session will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and cost $25 per child.
