|Anaheim Offers Multiple Information Sources for Major League Baseball All-Star Week|
ANAHEIM, CA - (June 10, 2010) - The City of Anaheim will play host to the 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Game on July 13, and with week-long festivities opening on July 9, the City invites residents, businesses and visitors to enjoy the celebration through various news and information resources, including traffic updates, offered through www.anaheim.net.
WEB SITE - The City’s Web site, www.anaheim.net, will host a page dedicated to the All-Star Game. On the All-Star Game page, fans can learn about the 81st All-Star Game, All-Star FanFest, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the Anaheim Convention Center and related parking, the renovation of Pioneer Park, the All-Star Game Charity 5K and Fun Run presented by Sports Authority and Nike, the All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevy, visitor information, community activities, how to sign up for alert information, press releases, plus other pertinent information. All MLB-related information will take the user to www.allstargame.com.
E-INFO - E-info is an online e-mail subscription for Anaheim-specific press releases, community information and planned road closures. An All-Star Game-specific distribution list has been created through E-info, easily accessed from the home page at www.anaheim.net. The All-Star Game category will be featured as part of the E-info system through July 14 only. In addition, E-info is available year-round for anyone wishing to receive notifications about the City.
ANAHEIM ALERT - Anaheim Alert is a year-round text-based community notification system to provide citizens with information on urgent traffic alerts or other emergency situations.
