Anaheim District Neighborhood Meetings Dates And Locations Announced Meet neighbors and learn what is happening in your neighborhood and city
ANAHEIM, CA - (April 19, 2011) - The City of Anaheim's District Neighborhood Council meetings are held quarterly throughout the year, and are an interactive way to learn, contribute and to speak directly with City staff about what is happening in your neighborhood and in the City.  Meetings are free and all are welcome to attend and participate.

The April 2011 District Neighborhood Council meeting schedule is as follows --

West District
Wednesday, April 20 – 7 p.m.
West Anaheim Youth Center, 320 South Beach Blvd.

East District
Thursday, April 21 – 7 p.m.
Canyon High School Library, 220 South Imperial Highway

Central District
Wednesday, April 27 – 7 p.m.
Downtown Community Center, 250 East Center Street

South District
Thursday, April 28 – 7 p.m.
Stoddard Elementary School, 1841 South Ninth Street

The District Neighborhood Council is part of the Anaheim Neighborhood Improvement Program which uses an inter-departmental approach to improve the livability of Anaheim's neighborhoods.  Utilizing four neighborhood districts and interdepartmental teams assigned to each district, neighborhood improvement is accomplished by creating partnerships between neighborhood "stakeholders," including City departments, residents, property owners, school officials, the religious community business community and non-profit organizations.  To determine what district meeting you should attend, please visit www.anaheim.net and search "neighborhood services districts".
