ANAHEIM, CA - (March 19, 2012) - The Anaheim City Council will take their scheduled March 20 Council meeting to the East Anaheim Gymnasium, the first of four remote meetings in 2012, as an extended outreach throughout the City.
The public session of the City Council meeting will begin at 5 p.m., preceded by a closed session meeting at 4:30 p.m. The East Anaheim Gymnasium is located at 8165 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road. Free public parking is available.
Anaheim City Hall, located in downtown Anaheim, is the traditional location for City Council meetings. However at the Oct. 25, 2011 City Council meeting, Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait together with the Anaheim City Council voted to take four regularly scheduled City Council meetings to locations within Anaheim’s 50-square miles during the 2012 calendar year. The Council agreed to hold two remote meetings in east Anaheim, and two in west Anaheim.
The remaining three remote meeting locations and dates for 2012 are to be announced.
