Join Host City Anaheim And Cheer On The U.S. Men's National Volleyball Team This Weekend
ANAHEIM, CA - (April 27, 2012) - Break out the red, white and blue and join the City of Anaheim, Official Host City for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Volleyball Teams, for world-class volleyball competition this weekend.

The U.S. Men's National Volleyball Team will play two exhibition matches vs. the Argentine National Team, tonight at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., at the JSerra Catholic School athletic pavilion. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.

The Men’s Team, currently ranked #6 in the world, continues the path toward Olympic Games qualification and the opportunity to defend its 2008 Gold Medal win in London this summer.

Since 2006 Anaheim has been identified as a United States city with international sports distinction and American pride experienced every four years through the phenomenon of the Olympic Games. The Men’s Team moved its training headquarters to Anaheim from Colorado Springs, Colo. in 2006, followed by the Women’s Team in 2009. The Women’s Team, the 2008 Olympics Silver Medalist Team, is currently ranked #1 in the world and has qualified for participation in the 2012 London Olympic Games.
