ANAHEIM, CA - (May 2, 2012) - Food, games, carnival rides and music will be part of the 42nd annual family-friendly Cinco de Mayo Fiesta and Carnival in Anaheim, taking place May 3-6 at La Palma Park in Anaheim. The fiesta will feature free live entertainment including the best of mariachi bands on Saturday and Sunday. La Palma Park is located at the corner of Harbor Blvd. and La Palma Ave.
More than 100 vendor and food booths will be available for guests to enjoy. The coronation of this year’s Cinco de Mayo princess will take place on Saturday at the main stage. A mass, conducted in Spanish, will be held in the park at Glover Stadium on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
The carnival will feature thrill rides for the older members of the family while also offering rides suitable for young attendees. Guests can play games involving skill and luck for the chance to win a wide variety of prizes.
Added this year is free parking at the Anaheim City Hall parking structure and free shuttle bus service to the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 3:00-10:30 p.m. The Anaheim City Hall parking structure is located behind City Hall (200 S. Anaheim Blvd.). The shuttle bus pick-up and drop-off point will be near the parking structure at 42nd St. Please look for the directional signs.

Carnival rides and games: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. (ticket sales stop at 10 p.m.)
