| Anaheim City Council Calls Special Meeting for Aug. 2 on Vital City Issues | ||||||||||||

ANAHEIM, CA - (August 1, 2012) - The Anaheim City Council will host a special meeting on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. to conduct a closed session meeting on several important city matters.
The Anaheim City Council will meet to consider the following: a conference with legal counsel in the matter of Moreno et al. v. City of Anaheim; to conduct an annual review of its direct reports; and to discuss the safety of public facilities with the Anaheim Chief of Police. The meeting will take place at the Anaheim City Hall Council Chambers, located at 200 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92805. Residents will have the opportunity to offer public comments on issues being addressed at this meeting prior to the Council members entering closed session. Anaheim continues to be one of the safest cities in the country as a visitor destination, as well as, to live and raise a family. The Anaheim City Council is committed to working with community, non-profit, education, and business leaders, as well as members of our faith-based community to collaboratively move the city forward in a positive direction following the recent events of July 21-22, 2012.
