| Citizens Advisory Committee To Include Public Policy Guest Speaker | ||||||||||||

ANAHEIM, CA - (November 6, 2012) - The next meeting of the Anaheim Citizens Advisory Committee on Elections and Community Involvement (CAC), scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8, will feature a presentation by Justin A. Tucker, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Public Policy, California State University Fullerton.
Dr. Tucker, whose work has been published in public policy literature, will share information with the CAC members and audience about the various election systems and the overall electoral process. This will be the first of many presentations and the community is invited to attend to learn about this important subject with the CAC members. The meeting will take place at Katella High School (Royal Crown Theater, 2200 E. Wagner Ave., Anaheim, CA 92806), beginning at 7 p.m. The purpose of the CAC is to promote the full participation of all residents, neighborhoods, community groups and ethnic groups relating to the City’s electoral system. The CAC, scheduled to meet on a monthly basis at locations throughout the City, will report its findings and recommendations directly to the City Council by May 31, 2013.
