ANAHEIM, CA - (February 1, 2013) - Yesterday, the City Attorney for the City of Anaheim, Cristina Talley, tendered her resignation from the Office of the City Attorney, effective April 30, 2013. The City Attorney is one of four at-will positions reporting directly to the City Council.

Ms. Talley started with the City of Anaheim as a Senior Assistant City Attorney in 1996. For five years, one of her primary assignments was serving as legal counsel to the Anaheim Police Department. In 2009 Ms. Talley was appointed City Attorney, where for the past three and a half years she has been a member of the City of Anaheim’s management team.

The Anaheim City Council will work closely with the City Manager’s office in the coming months to find a replacement.

The City thanks Ms. Talley for her 16 years of service to the people of Anaheim, and wishes her the best in her future endeavors.
