|City Of Anaheim Seeking Property Management Firm For Artic Facility|
ANAHEIM, CA - (September 12, 2013) - The City of Anaheim is currently soliciting qualifications and detailed proposals for Property Management services at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC).
The most qualified respondent, as chosen through a competitive procurement process, will enter into a four year agreement with optional extensions with the City. The Property Management firm will be responsible for the safe and effective day-to-day oversight of essential operational and maintenance functions for ARTIC, including general property management, financial management/property accounting, security, leasing, special events, janitorial, staff supervision/training, and more. A pre-submittal workshop will be held on Thurs., September 26 at 9 a.m. at the City of Anaheim Gordon Hoyt Conference Room (201 S. Anaheim Blvd., 2nd Floor, Anaheim, CA 92805). Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged. The closing date for the City to receive all Proposal documents will be 3 p.m. on Thurs., October 17, 2013.
The ARTIC Facility is currently under construction, with completion anticipated in late 2014. ARTIC will be a state-of-the-art transportation facility that will serve as a hub for Orange County and the entire Southern California region. Located in the Platinum Triangle, a growing and dynamic mixed use area, and within walking distance of both Angel Stadium and Honda Center, ARTIC is intended to provide a centralized location for transit services including Amtrak, Metrolink, the Orange County Transportation Authority (“OCTA”) bus, shuttles, taxis and future services such as the Anaheim Rapid Connection (a fixed-guideway system), and more.
ARTIC will be a transportation facility, maintained at a standard consistent with Anaheim’s world class venues, where people will seamlessly move between transit services to reach Southern California activity centers and business districts. Transit oriented development in the immediate area will integrate with ARTIC to form a vibrant Southern California community.
