The City of Anaheim also offers the following tips for inclement weather preparation.

  • Remember to turn off automatic sprinkler systems, thereby averting unnecessary watering
  • Stay clear of streams and the river for the potential of quick rising flood waters
  • Be ready with personal supplies, food and water at home
  • Prepare weather related clothing such as rain boots, waterproof pants and jackets
  • Fuel vehicles, charge phones and devices and consider keeping additional battery packs and charging cords with you. Have gallon zipper-top bags available to keep electronic devices dry.
