Anaheim Museum Hosts Holiday Home Tour
ANAHEIM, CA - (December 9, 2003) - The Anaheim Museum, Inc. will sponsor a special holiday experience on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13 from 6 - 10 p.m., as they guide guests in an enchanted evening stroll through Heritage Square, one of the most fascinating treasures in the Anaheim Colony Historic District.

In this magical return to a bygone era, participants will be entertained by live musicians as they visit an historic neighborhood of Victorian, Colonial Revival, Queen Anne, and Craftsman period homes. These vintage homes, with their turrets and balconies exquisitely decorated with help from enthusiastic Disney VoluntEARS, include six that will open their doors to welcome guests inside to enjoy their Christmas trees, fireplace mantles, staircase banisters, and halls decked in turn-of-the-century glory.

Tickets for the Holiday Home Tour include parking, shuttle bus, a keepsake holiday booklet with interesting information about the tour homes, and a special Kids Pack for supervised children age 12 and under, as well as admission to the Anaheim Museum. There will also be an interesting display about two additional historic houses in mid-renovation at the “hard-hat” site adjacent to homes on the tour.

Tickets cost $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors, students, and museum members. A Family Pack, including admission for two adults and up to four supervised children can be purchased for $50. Additional children in the family are $5 each. All proceeds benefit Anaheim Museum, Inc. and Anaheim High School.

Tickets are limited and are expected to sell out early for both nights. Avoid disappointment by pre-purchasing tickets at the Anaheim Museum.
