| ANAHEIM, CA - (April 14, 2004) - The 33rd annual Cinco De Mayo Fiesta and Carnival will be taking place at La Palma Park, in the City of Anaheim, from April 29 through May 2, 2004. The fiesta will feature free live entertainment including the best of mariachi bands on Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Over 80 vendor and food booths will be available for guests to enjoy authentic Mexican food from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. The coronation of this year’s Cinco De Mayo queen will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday on the stage. A Mass, conducted in Spanish, will be held in the park at Glover Stadium on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. Experience the excitement of the carnival beginning Thursday, April 29 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday, April 30 from 5 p.m. to midnight. On Saturday and Sunday, the carnival will open at 10 a.m. The carnival features thrill rides for the older members of the family while also offering rides suitable for young carnival goers.
