ANAHEIM, CA - (June 17, 2005) - Splash into summer at Pearson Park Pool in Anaheim on Saturday, June 18. The City is hosting its annual Summer Kickoff Pool Party from 12 – 3 p.m. marking the pool’s summer opening and the start of swimming lessons next week. Pearson Park Pool, located at 400 N. Harbor Blvd., will be open on weekends from 12 – 3 p.m. and 4 – 7 p.m. until September 25. The pool will also be open weekdays from 3 – 4 p.m. until August 11. The pool will be closed on July 1, 4, 9, 24 and August 12. On July 3, Pearson will host its annual Patriotic Pool Party from 12 – 3 p.m. Swimming lessons begin Monday, June 20 at Pearson, as well as at Canyon, Servite and Magnolia high schools and run through August 11. Walk-in registration at the pool site is accepted on the first Monday through Wednesday of each session, provided class space is available.
