Anaheim Mayor Tom Daly Invites Longtime Angels' Fan, 102-Year-Old Faith Henderson, to Championship Series
ANAHEIM, CA - (October 10, 2002) - City of Anaheim Mayor Tom Daly announced today that he has invited Faith Henderson, a longtime Angels’ fan to Friday’s American League Championship Series game between the Minnesota Twins and the Anaheim Angels. Believed to be one of Southern California’s most “senior” Angels’ fans, the 102-year-old Henderson, who lives at Morningside in Fullerton, Calif., and a guest will join Mayor Daly in the City’s luxury suite at Edison International Field of Anaheim. The Anaheim Angels will also present Henderson with her own personalized Angels’ jersey and an Angels’ official hat.

“This is a historic, record-breaking year for the Anaheim Angels and a chance for us to show our heartfelt appreciation for people who have been supporting the Angels for many years,” said Mayor Daly. “I am looking forward to hosting Faith and her friend and cheering together for an Angel victory.”

The American League Championship Series is tied at one game a piece. Games Three, Four and Five of the American League Championship Series will be played at Edison International Field of Anaheim Friday through Sunday. Games Six and Seven (if necessary) will be played in Minneapolis.
