Anaheim Appoints Three New Department Heads
ANAHEIM, CA - (January 10, 2007) - At Tuesday’s regularly scheduled meeting, the Anaheim City Council confirmed three new City Department Heads- Linda Nguyen, City Clerk; Henry W. Stern, CTP, City Treasurer; and Kristine Ridge, Human Resources Director.

Linda Nguyen returns to Anaheim where she served as Deputy City Clerk from 2001 to 2005. For the last year, Nguyen has been a Human Resources Manager for the Orange County Public Library. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Public Administration.

Henry W. Stern, CTP, recently served as the Chief Investment Officer for the City of Los Angeles where he was responsible for a $6 billion dollar fixed income investment program. Prior to the City of Los Angeles, Stern served six years as the Treasury Operations Officer for the City of Long Beach and more than 17 years as the Investment Officer for the City of Lakewood. Stern holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Public Administration.

Kristine Ridge has been with the City of Anaheim for the past 13 years. Most recently, she has been functioning as the Acting City Treasurer while continuing her duties as the City’s Internal Audit Manager, where she has served for the past 10 years. Ridge has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership.

The City is also pleased to announce that Susan Grabemeyer-Grande has been appointed the City’s new Internal Audit Manager, replacing Ridge. Grabemeyer-Grande has been with the City’s audit division for 17 years.
