Not only is Anaheim water high quality, it also tastes great -at least according to a panel of judges at the U.S. Conference of Mayors headquarters in Washington D.C. Anaheim was one of five cities recognized for their achievement in providing great tasting, quality water to America's citizens. A blind taste test was conducted on samples of tap water submitted by 93 cities during the first round of the 2007 City Water Taste Test. Water was judged to taste, clarity and aroma. Learn More ... Delivering high quality water to Anaheim residents and businesses has been a core responsibility of Anaheim Public Utilities for more than 125 years. We closely monitor the quality of water we deliver to you and our other customers we conducted more than 47,000 tests this past year on samples drawn from our own facilities and from customer locations throughout our service area. Our tests are in addition to thousands of tests conducted by our water suppliers. We test for over 100 possible substances in our drinking water, most of which are not detected at all in the water we deliver to you. All of our tests and behind-the-scenes efforts are aimed at one goal: making sure that your water consistently meets all the standards set for quality by California and federal regulations.
