 Building Division News


Per California State Assembly Bill 2335, the City of Anaheim Building Division has some new requirements for property owners or their agents obtaining building permits.

In order to issue a building permit to a property owner, we will need to verify property ownership. Please bring with you your State-issued ID and a copy of one of the following:
              ~ Property Deed
              ~ Tax Bill
              ~ Closed escrow document
              ~ Title search 
              ~ Mortgage Bill.

If you, the property owner, are sending someone to obtain the permit on your behalf (an agent), you will need to give them prior authorization by completing the Authorization form. Also provide your agent a signed copy of the Owner-Builder Acknowledgement form. Please contact the Building Division at 714-765-5153, if you have questions about these state requirements.
