Remodeling or renovating existing buildings?
Effective April 2010, firms and their employees working in pre-1978 homes and other buildings will need to be Certified Renovators. Find out more about the EPA(Environmental Protection Agency) ruling and the certification process from the Building Industry of America by clicking here.
With the adoption of the 2008 California Energy Code in July 2009, there are new document and process requirements for certain permits. Click here for a summary of the changes for residential permits.
Please make sure you have the required documents complete when you come to apply for a permit. Without these forms, we will not be able to process your permit the same day.
