It's a Race to the Finish Line in Anaheim!
DATE: July 14, 2007
LOCATION: Anaheim  The City of Anaheim teamed up with the Downtown Anaheim Association to host the finish line of the 25th annual Great American Race. The finish line was the conclusion to a cross-country rally for classic automobiles that started on June 30, 2007 in Concorde, NC. Approximately 1,500 guests came to cheer on the racing teams who drove 4,000 miles through 11 states in 15 days to the finish line in Anaheim’s Center Promenade. Activities including live music and a car show were held in the afternoon. That evening, participants and city officials gathered at the awards reception to honor the winners of the race.
