Administrative Permits |

We are pleased to announce improvements to our process for certain minor reductions or deviations from our code requirements. These permits are now reviewed by the Planning Director at an administrative level. This change results in a reduced processing time of two weeks and the cost of processing the request is anticipated to be less. The number of plans required has also been reduced. There are several existing permit processes that are affected by this change and a few new processes that have been created. The following permits are now reviewed administratively:

Special Circumstances Waiver

Off-site Parking Permit

Residential Wayfinding Program

Removal and Reconstruction of Historic Structures

Modification of Non-conforming Uses

Modification of Standards for Non-Conforming Lots
A new application form has been created and can be accessed here. You may also request a telephone consultation with staff to determine if this process could work for for your project without making a trip to City Hall.
