Through Anaheim's Neighborhood Preservation programs, we are able to improve neighborhoods through low interest loans, home ownership assistance and historical preservation. Since 1998 the Anaheim Housing Counseling Agency has provided assistance, information, counseling and education to buyers, owners and renters. The Agency has been HUD certified and approved and a housing counselor may be contacted at 714-765-4340.

The City of Anaheim, Community Development Department and California State Senator Lou Correa’s office sponsored a FREE foreclosure prevention workshop on August 21, 2009 at the Anaheim Downtown Community Center. Experts from major banks, HUD and nonprofit housing organizations were available to provide individual, confidential counseling and other assistance to homeowners concerned about or experiencing foreclosure.
