EAST ANAHEIM GYMNASIUM DEFINITIONS OF FEE CATEGORIES:
1. Resident/Non-Profit Youth Programs
Non-profit organizations with a valid non-profit tax I.D. number, operating in Anaheim, with over 51% of its members residing in Anaheim. Organizations must provide proof of 501(c)3 and roster to qualify under this fee category. Use must be intended to serve participants younger than 18 years old.
2. Resident/Non-Profit Adult Programs
Same at above except use is intended to serve participants age 18 or older.
3. Resident
A. Individuals residing within the City of Anaheim requesting a permit for personal use of the facility with no intent to foster the profit motive. Individuals applying on behalf of a group, club or organization shall be subject to the group’s user classification.
B. Groups, clubs and organizations that do not have non-profit status but have at least 51% of its members residing in Anaheim, whose use of the facility does not intend to foster the profit motive. Organizations must provide a roster of qualify under this fee category.
C. Business with offices or branches in Anaheim, whose use of the facility is not intended to foster the profit motive. Resident/Commercial
Individual, partnerships, groups or businesses residing in Anaheim and whose use of the facility is intended to foster the profit motive. Note: In order to be considered Resident Commercial at least 51% of the groups, members need to reside in Anaheim. Organizations must provide a roster to qualify under this fee category.
4. Non-Resident/Non-Profit
A. Non-profit organizations with a valid non-profit tax I.D. number not based in Anaheim and/or who have less than 51% of its members residing in Anaheim.
B. Individuals, partnerships, groups or businesses not residing in Anaheim and whose use of the facility is intended to foster the profit motive.
C. Businesses that do not have offices in Anaheim and whose use of the facility is not intended to foster the profit motive.
5. Non-Resident
A. Individuals not residing within the City of Anaheim requesting a permit for personal use of the facility with no intent to foster the profit motive. Individuals applying on behalf of a group, club or organization shall be subject to the group’s user classification.
B. Groups, clubs and organizations that do not have non-profit status and have less than 51% of its members residing in the City of Anaheim, shoes use of the facility does not intend to foster the profit motive.
C. Businesses that do not have offices in Anaheim and whose use of the facility is not intended to foster the profit motive.
6. Non-Resident/Commercial
Individuals, partnerships, groups or businesses not residing in Anaheim and whose use of the facility is intended to foster the profit motive.
RESERVATION PROCESS
A completed application must be filed at least TEN (10) working days prior to the requested date. Applications received with less than 10 days notice will be charged a $25.00 permit rush fee in addition to other charges.
The permit is not valid until all fees have been paid and current certificate of insurance is on file. The balance due must be paid FIVE (5) working days prior to facility use.
Refunds for charges other than the non-refundable permit processing fee will be made when request of cancellation is received in writing at least TEN (10) working days prior to the event. Refunds take approximately three weeks for processing.

RESERVATION PROCESS FOR EAST ANAHEIM GYMNASIUM1. A completed

3. Applicants shall maintain and provide proof of a policy of Commercial General Liability insurance with limits of not less than $1,000,000 naming the City of Anaheim, its officials, agents, employees, representatives, and volunteers as additional insured as respects to Applicant’s use and/or occupancy of the East Anaheim Gymnasium.
4. Refunds for charges other than the processing fee are available when request of cancellation is made in writing and received by this office at least ten (10) working days in advance. Refunds take approximately three weeks for processing. Bring the approved permit to the facility during your reservation in case there are any questions regarding your use of the facility.
EAST ANAHEIM GYMNASIUM RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. It shall be unlawful for any person not having a permit from the Anaheim Community Services Department to refuse or fail to surrender the use of the EAG to any person who has a permit for the use of said facility. (Ordinance 13.08.045)
2. There shall be no intoxicants or any type used, nor shall profane language, quarreling, fighting or gambling be permitted. (Ordinance 13.08.020)
3. There shall be no soliciting or sale of merchandise without first obtaining written approval from the Anaheim Community Services Department.
4. Property must be protected from damage and mistreatment. Ordinary precautions for cleanliness must be maintained. Groups shall be responsible for leaving the facility in the condition it was found. In cases where property has been damaged or abused beyond normal wear, the City shall be paid for damages by the organizations(s) and person(s) involved.
5. No private vehicles are permitted on EAG premises (other than the parking lot) without first obtaining written approval by the Anaheim Community Services Department.
6. Written approval by the Anaheim Community Services Department must be obtained for any non-City owned equipment set up in or outside the EAG.
7. Food, beverages and gum are not permitted inside the gymnasium (except water).
8. Only athletic shoes with non-marking soles are allowed in the gymnasium area. Scooters, wheeled shoes (Healy's), skateboards or other wheeled recreational/exercise equipment is not allowed on the gymnasium floor without prior written approval from the Anaheim Community Services Department.
