- Gift of History is a community event hosted by Mayor Curt Pringle &Gift of History Sponsors
- Each 3rd grade student will receive their very own copy of "Anna's Home by the River," by Gail Eastman in addition to a colorful gift backpack courtesy of Office Depot Foundation filled with school supplies, a Muzeo ticket, and other gifts.
- We anticipate over 5000 third grade students from public & private schools will attend the event celebrating the joys of reading, history and learning. Students, teachers and administrators from 6 districts have been invited.
- The event is fully funded by charitable support and made possible by volunteer efforts.
- We are seeking over 150 volunteers to prepare 5000+ backpacks to make the event a success
Volunteer Information
In order to sign up, click on the shift you’d like to volunteer for and fill out your volunteer information. You may sign up for as many shifts as you’d like, however, a new form must be submitted for each shift you sign up for. You will receive a confirmation email with more information once you have signed up.
Parking is complimentary. *** Volunteer Service hours are available and Gift of History/City Staff will be able to sign upon completion of volunteer hours. All volunteer assignments take place at the Anaheim Convention Center, AR 1 & 2.
