Are you ready to make Anaheim a cleaner, greener place to live? Want to reduce your carbon footprint? Now Anaheim Public Utilities is offering an easy way to “put your two cents in,” with the Green Power Program.

It’s fast and simple – just sign up once, and start making a difference every time you pay your bill. You select your contribution level – 25%, 50%, or 100% of your electric usage – and an additional 2¢ per kilowatt-hour (kWh) used will be billed to that percentage of your account.

For example, an average residential customer (with a 500 kilowatt-hour per month bill), would pay the following for Green Power:

$2.50/month at 25% 
$5.00/month at 50%
$10.00/month at 100%

These funds go towards purchasing solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, and other forms of renewable generation. At the end of each year, you will receive a Green Power Certificate showing how much green power you have purchased!
