The Anaheim Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle
involved in a fatal hit and run accident on July 15, 2004, and it’s registered owner.
On Thursday evening, July 15, 2004 at approximately 8:50 PM, a major traffic
collision occurred in the 3100 block of West Ball Road. This collision resulted in two
fatalities and three people were seriously injured. A 22 year-old male and a 14
year-old female died at the scene and the three people were critically injured. A
GMC Jimmy was traveling eastbound on Ball Road when a gold colored Pontiac
Grand Am, which was traveling westbound, made a left turn into the path of the GMC.
Both vehicles collided, causing the GMC to travel into the opposing lane of traffic. The
GMC struck a Honda Civic which was traveling westbound on Ball Road. The Pontiac
Grand Am believed to have caused this collision then immediately drove away from the scene.
Anaheim Police are searching for the gold colored 4-door 1997 Pontiac Grand Am,
California license plate number 5EDM377. The vehicle should have damage to the right

owner who is considered a “person of interest”. She is 4’11” in height, weighs 110 pounds,
has brown hair and green eyes. (Photograph shown).
