Used oil is the most commonly generated hazardous waste in California and the nation.

The improper disposal of used oil poses a threat to the public and the environment. When poured into household drains or dumped into our community’s storm drains, it can upset operations at our wastewater treatment plants and damage our local waterways and beaches.
