Kids in Action is a year-round after school program providing outreach, character development, recreation, arts and crafts, and sports to elementary school-age youth at several locations throughout the City. The Kids in Action program provides a safe and supervised environment where young people build self-esteem and cognitive, social, physical, and emotional competencies. Key components of the program include community service projects, excursions to sporting events and cultural activities, and social and educational field trips to provide youth participants with well-rounded opportunities for positive experiences, mastery, and growth.
