The City’s next General Municipal Election will be held on November 2, 2010. The election is for a Mayor and two City Council seats. The City Charter requires that Candidates be residents of the City of Anaheim and registered voters for at least 30 days immediately preceding the filing of nomination papers or declaration of candidacy. The regular nomination period will run from July 12 to August 6, 2010. If an eligible incumbent does not file by August 6th, the filing period will be extended to August 11, 2010.
