Orange County Recorder’s Office

There are Orange County archives going back to 1889.  This office must be visited in person; no telephone service is offered.  Be prepared with the map book number and tract number from your property tax bill or escrow papers before beginning your research.  There are many records stored here, so be prepared to spend some time at this office.
