The Anaheim Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit takes a proactive approach in preventing crime by offering a broad array of free prevention services and programs to the community and businesses in the City of Anaheim.
Prevention is a process where we anticipate a problem and address it before it becomes a reality. Prevention involves connecting people and resources with ideas, strategies, and programs. The overall goal of prevention is to enable the person to stop the harmful behavior or situation. Prevention programs are tailored to meet the needs of the community and are available in Spanish.
