Looking to get involved with your neighborhood or take steps to become more prepared. Below are three easy ways to get involved today. |
 |
The first step in getting involved in your neighborhood is to get to know your neighbors. Make a commitment to meet at least 5 neighbors and write down their contact information. Aside from the fact that your neighbors are part of your community, they can also be a safety net if you ever need something. To learn more about Community Building, click here.

Be part of the 21st century neighborhood watch for your community. As a neighbor you know what is out of the ordinary for your neighborhood, if you see or hear something that you feel is suspicious report it. You can choose to be anonymous if you like. Observing suspicious activity is a shared responsibility, if you see SEE something, HEAR something, SMELL something or even FEEL something is suspicious, REPORT IT. A single lead or tip can lead to actions that can stop criminal activity and even a terrorist attack. Always remember: YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST. NEVER attempt to make contact with, pursue or in any other way interfere with an individual or group of individuals whom you think are acting suspiciously. Call 911 immediately to report suspicious activity in progress, or complete a Suspicious Activity Report for ongoing suspicious activities. Report Suspicious Activity: - Online via Anaheim Anytime - My Anaheim App for iPhone or Android - Ca11 311
