The Anaheim Arts Council was established in 1977 by the City of Anaheim as an advisory council for arts and culture in Anaheim. The AAC encourages involvement of the community in programs that include culture, dance, drama, heritage, literature, music, and visual arts. The Arts Council raises funds through various means to award grants to groups to complete art, cultural and historical projects. Seed money grants are also be available, which recipients must repay. Outside grants and sponsors are sought to support these projects. Membership in the Anaheim Arts Council is open to all nonprofit service, cultural, arts and historical organizations that serve the Anaheim area. Interested individuals and businesses are also eligible for membership.

Anaheim Ballet's mission is to enlighten and entertain audiences with classically rooted programming and contemporary presentation. Anaheim Ballet provides quality performances to audiences of balletomanes as well as novice ballet-goers and acts as a haven to talented Southern California artists and as a magnet to international talents. Anaheim Ballet's Educational Outreach and Scholarship Step Up! program is committed to the promotion of classical ballet and providing its numerous benefits to those otherwise not able to receive them.

The Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation is dedicated to establishing and maintaining a Performing Arts Center in Anaheim. Nederlander was the first promoter to bring live theatre to the City National Grove of Anaheim with the Broadway touring productions of Stomp, Rent and Grease. In addition, family performances such as Sesame Street Live have played the venue for the first time since Nederlander took over its management. The City National Grove of Anaheim has also played host to several sell-out concerts including, Ray Charles, Morrissey, Jill Scott, Cyndi Lauper, George Lopez, Merle Haggard, Jamie Foxx, Dropkick Murphys and Seal, among others.

The MUZEO, Southern California’s newest museum, a center for arts, knowledge, entertainment and culture, will engage people of all ages via the showcase of prestigious and world-class traveling exhibits. A new model for urban cultural centers the MUZEO will feature a unique variety of changing exhibitions, special events, lectures, classes and weekend festivals. The 25,000 square foot MUZEO complex encompasses Anaheim’s original Carnegie Library (built in 1908) and new state-of-the art gallery space which has been seamlessly integrated into an urban setting, intimately surrounded by two connecting courtyards, apartment loft living and street-level retail outlets. The MUZEO (which means “museum” in the international language of Esperanto) re-invents the concept of a regional cultural center for 21st century audiences. The MUZEO concept is truly visionary – transforming the image of our grandparents museum experience with state-of-the-art self guided audio podcasts, Wi-Fi access, interactive elements, interchangeable display capabilities and modern-day research facilities.
