ANAHEIM BUSINESSES: Upgrade to new energy efficient equipment
between April 1
st through June 30th 2013 and Anaheim will give you DOUBLE the rebate amount!

The Double the Rebate (DR) Program funding is made available courtesy of Anaheim Public Utilities.  The purpose is to further stimulate and reward implementation of energy efficiency measures by Anaheim commercial and industrial customers.  Please note the requirements in the Program Guidelines and Procedures outlined below{

Program Guidelines and Procedures:

Rebate Reservation Form will be issued only upon the compliance with the following conditions:

  1. Eligible customer must have an active Anaheim electric utility account served by Anaheim Public Utilities that is in good standing with both the City and its public utility.
  2. Approved projects begin construction on or after April 1, 2013.
  3. Manufacturer’s specification data for all products to be installed submitted for review. A signed customer approved proposal with a scope of work outlining the project with an itemized price list of all product to be installed including materials and labor is submitted.

  5. All Department sanctioned energy calculation worksheets or recognized and approved 3rd party energy savings calculation documentation completed and submitted.
  6. Prepare and submit a Waste Management Plan which outlines the waste stream for each project in compliance with the requirements set by the Department of Energy (DOE) (www.dmme.virginia.gov/DE/ARRA-Public/WasteStream.pdf) and corroborated by the California Energy Commission (CEC). (http://www.energy.ca.gov/2010publications/CEC-150-2010-002/CEC-150-2010-002.PDF). In order to meet this requirement, the customer and or their representative must complete and submit to the Department the Waste Management Plan Certification & Compliance Form found at the CEC website: http://www.energy.ca.gov/contracts/recovery.html#sep.

Rebate Reservation Form will be fully processed and check issued upon completion of the following conditions:

  1. All pre-issuance requirements for rebate reservation have been previously met.
  2. Provide an itemized paid invoice, sales slip or other acceptable form of proof of payment whether cancelled check, sales slip, etc. work by July 30.
  3. Project work must be completed by July 15 and an inspection arranged and conducted by approved Department personnel by July 30.

All other terms and conditions required for participation in the Double the Rebate Program will apply as stated in the Rebate Reservation Form and Program flyer. Double the Rebate Program funding is limited will be made available through June 30, 2013 or until it is expended whichever comes first.
