The City Clerk is the election official for the City’s local elections. For specific information pertaining to any County or Statewide election, you can visit www.ocvote.com (Orange County ROV) or www.sos.ca.gov (Secretary of State).
The City’s next General Municipal election will be held on November 2, 2010. The election is currently for the Mayor seat and two (2) Council Member seats. The City Charter requires that Candidates be residents of the City of Anaheim and registered voters for at least 30 days immediately preceding the filing of nomination papers. The regular nomination period will run from July 12 through August 6, 2010. If an eligible incumbent does not file nomination papers by August 6th, the filing period will be extended to August 11, 2010.
